I didn't realize I juuust finished this system in time for New Year's until about an hour before midnight. Huh! 2023 was... honestly it could've gone way better for me. I felt like my boundaries and safe space were being eroded month by month. It was ups and downs, but the downs were really down. I can certainly say it gave me hope that my depression can be properly managed, though. I just need to keep a better eye on my boundaries. Plans for 2024? After London's visit, I'm planning to go to a driving school and finally get my license. Despite missing it so hard in December, I still feel like I was pretty close. Oh, and, I'd like to figure out the best way to take my new meds, cause it can be a bit rough. But yeah, I'm looking forward to this January a bit?

That's a great question! I was thinking, like, a mix between life updates, the occasional thought I wanna share with everyone, that sort of thing. In other words, exactly what you'd expect from a personal blog. My friends might be tilting their heads right now, since I don't usually commit to this sort of thing. Ironically, I tend to keep my emotions very close to my chest! To that I say, maybe this is still worth a shot? For example, here's something going on with me right now: London is coming over! On January 8th, to be exact! We're both really excited. I don't think I'll necessarily share everything to do with it here - especially while it's happening - but maybe my friends and I will look back at these posts one day and uncover a bit of Eir history, you know? 💖

It took a while, but I've set this up, and I'm really proud of it! I used a system so only visitors with certain IP addresses can make, edit, or delete posts. Right now that's me and London! The current editor is very bare-bones and only lets me input raw HTML. But the upside is, since I've implemented editing functionality, I get as many tries as I want.
